Nursery Staff

Pay: $12/hour

Hours: 3 Hours per week (Sundays 9 am-Noon)

Supervisor: Family Ministries Coordinator

Description: The Nursery Staff provides childcare for children under 4 years of age in the church nursery

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years

  • Desire to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ and support the ministry of the church

  • Professional demeanor

  • Easily reached by phone and email

  • Timeliness and ability to work independently

  • Ability to be Safe Gatherings Certified and Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training (Provided by the church)

  • Current on all applicable vaccines including COVID-19

Specific Duties:

  • Be present on Sunday morning to provide care for children under 4 years of age in the church nursery during worship services and activities.

  • Provide childcare during other activities and programming

  • Keep nursery clean, disinfected, and picked up

  • Adhere to all established check-in and check-out procedures as well as incident reporting

  • Communicate with parents effectively to ensure children receive the best possible care

  • Notify the pastor or SPRC when more than one person is needed in the nursery to provide adequate care

  • Notify the church office when any supplies are needed in the nursery
